Next Tuesday 08/23 is an off week for everyone. Enjoy your week off and come back fresh the following Tuesday 08/30 for the start of the Fall session! This is the last session to qualify for the Vegas Nationals happening Feburary 2023, so make it count! Make sure players have their 8 matches to meet Nationals eligibility. Please let us know if you need any assistance in getting that done.
We are looking to still be at 9 teams for next session with some spots available on teams. Spread the word! Have some friends join so that you can all go to Vegas together! We look forward to seeing everyone for the Fall session and excited for some new faces as well!

Reminder, next week Tuesday 08/23/22 is an off week for everyone. The following Tuesday, Fall Session starts 08/30/22. This will be the last chance for all players to get the requirement of 8 matches per discipline in one single session in order to play in Nationals. Please notify us of any roster changes.
Fall Session captain/co-captain 8 ball tournament will now become an open tournament for all USAPL members. The tournament takes place SATURDAY, 09/24/22 at 11 AM. Doors open at 10 AM for practice. The winner of the tournament will win free league dues for the Fall session.

– 08/09: Last week of Summer Session
– 08/16: Playoffs between 2nd & 3rd place teams (1st place automatically qualifies, unless previously qualified, then next eligible team will take the spot). Players must have 6 played weeks this session in order to partipate in playoffs as per our bylaw updated 07/19/22.
– 08/23: OFF WEEK
– 08/30: Fall session starts
Fall Session is the last session of the year to qualify for Vegas 2023, which also means it is the last chance to ensure you play your necessary 8 matches in a session in order to abide by the Nationals eligibility (if not done so already). Team Captains: If there are any roster changes, please let us know as soon as possible so Fall session can begin without delay.
As announced last week, Vegas Qualifying Tournament dates have been set: 8 Ball on 01/07/23 and 9 Ball on 01/14/23. Both dates will start at 10 AM. Doors open at 9 AM for practice beforehand. To see who already qualify for the VQT, go to DIVISIONS -> VQT (or click HERE)
Gabe was the lucky winner of the 10 ball B&R draw this past Tuesday. He made 1 ball on the break and called it quits to ensure his winnings of $291.00 for the pocketed ball. This brings the current pot to $2,860.00 with each ball worth $286.00. Good luck to the next drawn contestant!

Congrats to Hannibal for taking home some money from the 10 ball B&R pot! He made one off the break and pocketed 2 more balls before calling it quits. Congrats to the following patch winners: Melvin P & Hannibal E (8 WZ), Anthony G & KC (9 SNAP)!New and exciting update for the USAPL Nationals in February 2023: CSI (our governing body for USAPL) is officially sponsored by Predator for all upcoming tournaments, including nationals. This means both BCA & USAPL will be the only league systems to play on 7-foot Predator Apex tables! We are excited to see them in Vegas and to try them out.
Speaking of Vegas, we want to remind everyone the eligiblity requirements for nationals: Players must meet both of the following criteria:
-Play at least eight (8) matches in a single division session between Jan 1 and Dec 31, 2022
-Remain active in the USA Pool League in 2023 (play at least two matches between Jan 1 and Feb 21, 2023)
We would like to stress that players need at least 8 matches in any one format in a single session sometime during the 2022 calendar year, not necessarily every session.
Example: SUMMER SESSION: David played 8 matches of 8 ball and 5 matches of 9 ball. FALL SESSION: David played 4 matches of 8 ball and 8 matches of 9 ball. David will qualify for Vegas in both 8 & 9 because he meets 8 matches in a single session in 2022 for both formats.
Due to the late notice given of this eligiblity update, we will be enacting a bylaw of 6 matches in any one division for playoff purposes only. VQT requirements will stay consistent with the National requirements. This bylaw will remain in effect going forward for every session here on out.

Great job!An update has been made to the 10 ball break & run as we have hit over $300 per ball. As announced during league night, should the first ticket drawn result in a dry break or a foul, then a second ticket will be drawn for “Sloppy Seconds” at half price! This means a second chance to try your luck at half the price per ball. This will continue going forward for each 10 ball B&R pot.
Congrats to KC on the 10 ball break & run this past Tuesday! He pocketed one ball off the break and stopped at $317.00, so no Sloppy Seconds this week! This brings the current pot to $3,100.00 with each ball worth $310.00 apiece. Good luck to the next contestant!

Any previously qualified teams from Spring session will maintain their qualification and Summer qualification will move down the list. We are using the points/set criteria to determine rankings.

A reminder that this coming Saturday 05/14 is the captain & co-captain singles 8 ball tournament starting at 11 AM. If the captain or co-captain cannot make it to the tournament, another team representative can take the spot – as long as there are 2 people per team. This is a double elimination tournament. Winner gets to play free the entire summer session.

Hello Summer Session! It was good to see everyone back, plus some new faces as well! Let’s welcome back Cue Tang Clan with some return members as well as some new additions: Edgar M, Jason H, Chelsea G, Nikki J, Betsy S, Edward V, Andrew V, and Jordan W! It’s great to have you all join us!In addition to the 8th team, we had enough walk-ins to create a 9th team, aka The Misfits! This means we now have a BYE week to look forward to, so everyone thank them for joining the league. Please be patient with them as they are learning how the league plays and the scoring systems as well. We are very excited with this growth and look forward to a busy but action packed session with everyone.
First congratulations go to Spring Session teams that won in the playoffs: 8 Ball – Shot for Shot and 9 Ball – Shot Callers! These two teams will join Spring Session champs to qualify for the VQT occuring in January 2023. Secondly, congrats to the patch winners from last night: Jeriamy S – 8 WZ, Bryan L – 9 SNAP, and Brett S – 9 B&R.
With the added teams, we will start with assigned tables on week 2 to help promote faster start time on league nights. Bonus points will still start on week 4. Reminder: 50 bonus points for matching scoresheets + 50 bonus points for league dues paid by end of league night = 100 bonus points possible.
